BLUE THEATRE: Let’s Create What We Are
On Friday, June 20 at 7 PM, the Cultural Center Klara i Rosa will host a public presentation of the work developed within the project Ode to Diversity – Towards an Inclusive Society, titled Let’s Create What We Are.
This presentation is part of the fourth season of Ode to Diversity, a long-term project focused on the inclusion of young people with disabilities. This year's edition was realized in partnership with the Academic Inclusive Association, the Faculty of Special Education and Rehabilitation, and in collaboration with the Cultural Center Klara i Rosa from Subotica, with support from the Australian Embassy through the Direct Aid Program (DAP).
.
According to workshop leader, actress, and theatre pedagogue Maša Jelić: “In days and months when our society is hopefully undergoing a deep systemic shift and young people are taking matters into their own hands, it felt necessary to dedicate this process to the theme of revolution – and to all those who, in universities, schools, on the streets, in movements and organizations, and at their workplaces, are fighting daily for better and fairer living conditions and for a future where the youth and talent of this country can stay here. Throughout the process, we explored various aspects of the idea of revolution – its meaning, its causes, the creative and destructive potential of rebellion, questions about the necessity of violence, and principles of nonviolent resistance.”
.
The presentation features texts by Albert Camus (The Rebel) and Hannah Arendt (On Revolution), as well as quotes by Che Guevara, Mahatma Gandhi, Carl Jung, Josip Broz Tito, and Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. It also includes original writings by the participants, Cuban revolutionary songs, and a song by Đorđe Balašević.

Rad su vodili glumci Plavog pozorišta, Maša Jelić i Marko Potkonjak, uz superviziju reditelja, Nenada Čolića, i učestvovanje edukatora iz Akademske inkluzivne asocijacije.
