GRADIONICA: THE STORY ABOUT US

After a year-long creative process and a variety of experiences shared by a group of seven young primary school students, we are proud to present the public class of Gradionica titled “The Story About Us.” The presentation will take place at the Klara and Rosa space (Petefi Šandora 15, Subotica) on Saturday, June 14 at 19:00 and on Sunday, June 15 at 18:00.

Because space is limited, registration is required via email: klarairosa@gmail.com

“The Story About Us” is an original project created by the participants themselves. The form combines elements of fiction and documentary, digital and physical, text, music, and movement—entirely shaped through their collective creative process. In this way, the participants speak boldly in their own name and in the name of their generation, without hiding behind the words of an “adult” author.

.

It is a story about school, feelings, problems and injustices, boundaries and the in-between space between childhood and adulthood—the “no-man’s land” where our primary schoolers find themselves, being neither small nor big.

It is a story about us, but also about you who are watching.

.

The protagonists of “The Story About Us” are creators, authors, and initiators—and this is precisely the goal of Gradionica: to encourage, nurture, and develop thoughtful, creative, and courageous human beings.
