BE PART OF A SHARED STORY: CALL FOR MATERIAL SUBMISSIONS
Do you have a story, photograph, object, or memory that reflects encounters between different cultures, languages, or customs?
.
As part of the project “Europe from Serbia”, we are collecting materials that document the intercultural life of Subotica in everyday settings—within families and neighborhoods, at school and work, at the table, on the bus, in the street, and in public spaces.
.
We are especially interested in small, personal stories: moments of understanding without a shared language, mixed families, shared customs, objects that traveled with people, photographs capturing meetings, closeness, and communal life.
.
-Collected materials will be digitized and preserved in an archive for cultural and educational purposes.
-The author or owner will be credited (if desired).
-Materials can be submitted online or delivered in person to Klara i Rosa (Petefi Šandora 15) from March 2–13, 10:00–14:00.
.
For online submissions, please fill out the form at the LINK.
.
We archive stories that are rarely recorded but make the city what it truly is.
Interculturality is not an abstract concept—it lives in everyday encounters.
.
Materials are collected as part of the Europe from Serbia project, funded by the European Union and implemented by Pro.Tok21, Klara i Rosa, Sinhro, StartHub, and Takt.info.
