eine is an analog-experimental project by Ivan Ščapec, a well-known figure on the Balkan alternative scene. After 15 years of performing with his bands SEINE and the former Vlasta Popić, eine represents a deconstruction of his own artistic work through the use of analog synthesizers and sequencers. Songs once played on guitar are now transformed into black-and-white keys, growling bass lines, trip-hop rhythms, and analog haze, all wrapped in Ščapec’s distinctive androgynous vocals.

At the beginning of 2025, he released a live session recording titled “Blanket Fort Session” — a cozy “session under the blankets,” where he introduced his new sound. The release was followed by a club tour across the Balkans and performances at several festivals in Slovenia, including Niansa and Trnje Festival.
