INTERSLAVIC LANGUAGE IN SUBOTICA
The Interslavic language is a unique project that enables all speakers of Slavic languages to understand each other without prior learning. It is both an experiment in linguistic connection and a practical tool for cross-border communication.
.
On Saturday, September 27 at 7:30 p.m., in the space of Klara i Rosa (Šandora Petefija 15), a talk dedicated to this fascinating language will be held.
.
Our guests will be Matija Ćutić, author of the course and president of the Association for Interslavic Culture (Croatia), and Denis Czerwinski, coordinator of Interslavic projects in Poland and founder of the largest online platform dedicated to this language. They will talk about how Interslavic is used in practice — in communities, at cultural events, and in international projects — as well as about the possibilities it could offer in Serbia.
.
For Subotica, a city historically shaped by encounters between different cultures and languages, this topic carries special significance. It reminds us that language is more than words — it is a bridge that connects people and opens space for dialogue and understanding.
.
We invite you to join us and discover how Interslavic sounds, how it works, and why it matters today.
