WORKSHOP & CONCERT: ALICE IN WONDERBAND
On Saturday, March 14, a full-day program dedicated to the body, rhythm, and the shared experience of music awaits you at Klara i Rosa.
1 PM — The Body as an Instrument (workshop)
The workshop The Body as an Instrument, led by Ana Vrbaški and Marko Dinjaški, invites you to explore sound, movement, and rhythm through your own body.
Through fun and interactive exercises, you’ll learn how the body can become a tool for expression and music-making—both individually and as part of a group. The workshop is open to anyone interested in developing a sense of rhythm, presence, and creative expression, regardless of prior musical experience.

8 PM — Concert: Alice in WonderBand
In the evening, the world music duo of musical and theatrical performers will take the stage, using body percussion and body music as their primary expressive technique. Ana Vrbaški and Marko Dinjaški have been partners on stage and in life for 29 years. They live in nature, near Fruška Gora National Park, and their lifestyle is deeply connected to nature—something that strongly shapes their artistic expression.
Their performances are rhythmic, powerful, and full of energy—a deep, primal experience that takes the audience on a shared journey through Balkan music and into the inner spaces of one’s own being. Performing in thirteen languages, they affirm that even in the often turbulent Balkan region, unity exists through culture, music, and movement—a unity that fosters understanding and reconciliation.
Their debut album RikaTaka, New Balkan Rhythm was released in 2022 by the German label CPL Music, while their new album The Courage to Be Afraid is set to be released this year. They also organize the New Balkan Rhythm festival in Sremski Karlovci and have been leading body music workshops across the region since 2013.
Suggested donation for the concert: 700 RSD
We invite you to join us—whether you’d like to actively take part in the workshop or be part of a powerful musical gathering in the evening. Saturday, March 14 is reserved for rhythm, movement, and togetherness.
