STORY CIRCLE ON THE INTERCULTURAL HERITAGE OF SUBOTICA
Prethodno sprovedena anketa među građanima pokazala je da Subotičani interkulturalnost prepoznaju kao jedno od ključnih obeležja identiteta našeg grada. Zato vas pozivamo na razgovor o interkulturnom nasleđu Subotice, u sredu, 11. marta u 11.30 časova, u prostoru Savremene galerije (Park Rajhl Ferenca 5).
Do you remember stories, events, practices, or customs where different cultures met and intertwined in our city? Moments when town and countryside, languages and traditions came together? Perhaps you recall the time when students from African countries came to study in Subotica, bringing new energy to city life — or maybe you hold other, more personal memories. How do you understand interculturality?
You are warmly invited to bring photographs, letters, or other keepsakes that speak of these encounters, as we hope to archive and preserve this shared heritage together.
The Story Circle is a guided conversation format in which we, together with fellow citizens, shed light on old stories, forgotten memories, and precious moments from everyday life in Subotica. Through personal experiences and collective remembrance, we seek to better understand and safeguard the richness of our city’s intercultural heritage.
The event is organized within the framework of the project “European from Serbia,” funded by the European Union and implemented by Pro.Tok21, Klara i Rosa, Sinhro, StartHub, and Takt.info.
