CONCERT: Laptop Ensemble Novi Sad (LENS) + Lenkeš & Faki

On Saturday, May 23 at 8 PM, Klara i Rosa hosts an evening of contemporary improvised, experimental and electroacoustic music featuring performances by the duo Laslo Lenkeš & Tibor Takač Faki, alongside Laptop Ensemble Novi Sad (LENS).

Faki, a saxophone and clarinet player, has been active within Subotica’s alternative art scene since the late 1980s through numerous music and performance projects. Laslo Lenkeš is a guitarist and improviser working in underground rock and experimental music. Performing together since 2020, the duo creates sonic landscapes through improvisation, textures, and open musical forms.

Their releases include Sunroot (2020), The Funambulists (2021, FMR Records, UK), and the track “Elég” featured on the compilation Intimnosti 4.1 (2026).

Laptop Ensemble Novi Sad (LENS) was founded in 2024 at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad with the aim of exploring laptops as musical instruments. The ensemble consists of Jovana Dragojević, Bojan Ožegović, Kosta Ranđelović and Milan Milojković.

Their repertoire includes live electronics, electroacoustic improvisation, algorithmic processes, drone and intuitive music, with a strong focus on openness, collective creation and sonic experimentation.
