EXHIBITION „Common Heritage – The Tale of Four Cities“

U petak, 24. novembra u 19 časova, otvaramo izložbu „Common Heritage – The Tale of Four Cities“ u prostoru Klare i Rose (Petefi Šandora 15)! Izložba će biti postavljena do 30. novembra i moći ćete da je posetite od ponedeljka do petka od 10 – 16 časova, i u subotu od 10 do 14 časova.

.

Curated by Anca Majaru, the exhibition explores - with the means of research and artistic interpretation - the common heritage of four cities (Timisoara, Subotica, Szeged and Odesa) separated today not only by borders, but also by economic, social and political pretences. Eight artists from these four countries (Romania, Hungary, Serbia and Ukraine) used the same architectural elements selected from the research carried out in the four cities and illustrated them through the vision of each one. The artistic interpretations of the 8 artists testify to the common language of European culture and the potential for creative interpretation of cultural heritage. You will have the chance to see a series of 80 illustrations, accompanied by photographs taken by Răzvan Iliescu and Vitaly Malitsky, which will exhibit similar or even identical decorative motifs found in the four cities, in an attempt to explore their common heritage.
